Part of God's Church In Exeter

Here at CCC, worship plays a vital part of who we are and how we express ourselves. We fully recognise that worship is an attitude of heart, a response back to God expressing our passion for what he has done in our lives. We understand that God made us to worship him – and we love to express our worship through music.

The style of our worship varies from week to week featuring both contemporary worship songs and older hymns. Our times of worship are often interspersed with words of prophecy, Bible readings and sharing of personal testimonies from within the church family as the Holy Spirit leads.

We encourage a wide range of musicians of different abilities and styles, looking for a servant heart as well as musical gifting. Our worship styles range from more spontaneous worship, acoustic bands through to full bands. Our heart is not to be ‘the’ worshippers but look to facilitate and encourage worship throughout the church, worshipping together equally.

We are always on the look out for musicians and singers to allow them to serve with their God given gifting. However we do ask that those new to the church be patient and engage with all aspects of church life before becoming part of the worship team.

If you’re gifted technically, please talk to one of the leadership team. We strongly believe those involved in audio and video are part of the worship team. As a team, we aim to be holy, have good healthy relationships, walk closely with God and be pure before him, wanting the Holy Spirit to lead us at all times.
